Divina Galica, a Britih Olympic skier took part in a celebrity motor race and after that, decided to take up motorsport as a second career.
ln 1976 she took par in the British Shèll Sport International Group 8 series using the Nick Whiting Surtees TS16-4.
By entering the car into the 1976 F1 British GP, they reintroduced the number 13 to the world of Grand Prix racing.
Galica failed to qualify.The only F1 car entered under the number 13 prior to this was Moises Solana's BRM P57 at the 1963 Mexican GP.
Following her driving career, Galica returned to skiing and represented Great Britain in the 1992 Winter Olympics.
