In 1961, Stirling Moss was the only one to beat the "unbeatable" Ferrari 156 on the two "driving" circuits that are Monaco and the Nurburgring. Also Enzo Ferrari had promised him the wheel of one of his Dino.
And if on April 23, 1962 at the Glover Trophy at Goodwood, Stirling Moss was not -
at the wheel of his Lotus 18/21 906 UDT Laystall Racing Team - for a mysterious cause, off the road at St Mary's, we could have seen him driving a Ferrari 156 as shown in the photo montage of Motor Sport below.
We can not see this Ferrari 156 under the beautiful colors of Rob Walker (navy blue with "scarf" white) than on the picture below.
