Our  model  is of  the   B.R.M. -P160   (02)  used  on  the  15thAugust  1971  by  the  Swiss  driver,Jo  Siffert,to  win  the Austrian   Gran  Prix.    The  race  was  held  over  54  laps  of  the  3.67  mile  Osterreichringand.  Siffert,starting from   pole position,won  at  an  average  speed  of  132.3m.p.h.  He also  set  a new  lap  record  at  134.39m.p.h.  The  P160  was designed   by  Tony Southgateand  is powered  by  atype142  V12  engine  producing approximately 435b.h.p.  at  10,750r.p.m.  The  wheelbase is 2438mm  and  the  track'at  the  front 1473mm  and  the  rear 1448mm.  The  fuel capacity is 227.28 litres.
